Deep Hole Gundrilling Services
American Machine & Gundrilling, Inc. is a 3rd generation family owned company and is one of the few companies equipped with the skill set and latest technology in machinery to provide deep hole gundrilling services. Our experienced team can manufacture multiple hole types such as angle, blind, intersecting, and thru holes to name just a few. The facility is equipped with CNC controlled and NC controlled equipment with capabilities of machining on 3 axis.
Gundrilling has the versatility to be used on almost any material such as exotic metals, precious metals, and plastic polymers; almost any material with hardness of up to 48 R/c. Dependent on the hole diameter, ranging from 0.055" to 2.75", deep hole gundrilling depths can range from 8" to 360". We can gundrill an unlimited number of holes with a bolt circle diameter up to 36", manufactured to tolerances of ±0.0003” and surface finishes of 16 to 20 µin.
Our staff at American Machine & Gundrilling, Inc. takes pride in quality precision gundrilling techniques and conducts visual, hole lock, drift, size, and ultrasound inspections in addition to hardness and laser thermal testing to ensure all specifications and standards are met. Prototype to large volume lots can be deep hole gundrilled with an average lead time of 2 weeks.
